The Type 9 SuperJet exhaust combines the snappy
low-end throttle response of the original Factory Pipe dry exhaust
system with the screaming top end of the Type 8 pipe. The Type
9 uses the same manifold and most the same mounting hardware

8), which means this system will maintain exceptional reliability.
Our Type 9 is designed for limited and superstock
applications, but we have also found it to work well for recreational

800 SX-R Wet Pipe
The 800 SX-R Wet Pipe is single wall so it’s lighter
than our Dry Pipe. It’s based on the proven “B”
pipe design so you know it’s reliable and has excellent
throttle response. Installation is a snap and no hood modifications
are required. The black, hard anodizing provides the ultimate
in salt-water corrosion resistance. Of course the 800 SX-R
Wet Pipe incorporates the tunable headpipe design, with a
simple turn of an Allen wrench you can adjust the power curve
to your liking.

This exhaust system utilizes the stock waterbox
keeping it quiet and IJSBA legal limited. The pipe is fully
water jacketed and makes 27 Horsepower on a stock engine over
the stock exhaust system when used in conjunction with carb
jetting and altered ignition timing.
Expect a 6 mile per hour gain over the stock
exhaust system with the pipe, jetting, removing the flame arrestor
rubber grommets, and a 6 degree advance plate. Peak power is
produced at 7100 RPM.
ECWI is not included, but the pipe is ECWI compatable.
ECWI did not make a noticeable benifit on the stock, limited,
but our superstock does need the ECWI for race level acceleration.
The current version will require removing some
of the inside liner of the stock hood to fit the pipe. To achieve
optimum performance the stock timing curve is not adequate.
An Advent CDI can be purchased through Jet World which will
give the SXR its maximum potential in speed and acceleration.
As an alternative a timing advance plate (available through
Jet World) can also be used in place of the Advent CDI with
less dramatic performance gains. |

tuning specs including the current Kawasaki Jetski® Racing pipes

can very successfully survive the four-hour engine test. "A
lot of people think that triple pipes are not always as reliable
as a single pipe, and that's not really the case," said
Kawasaki's PWC Racing Manager Joe Heim. "We are trying
to prove that whole stereotype wrong by entering endurance races
with the Factory Pipe triple-pipe system and show that triple
pipes can be just as durable and, obviously, way more powerful
than a single pipe system." November issue, Personal Watercraft
Illustrated. After the four hour National Endurance Championships
the Kawasaki Race team went over the boats with a fine tooth
comb, found everything to be in order and went on to dethrone
Billy Womack in the Long Beach-Catalina National Off Shore Championship
race.

exhaust to match any rpm. By injecting water into the exhaust
chamber at lower rpm, the density of the exhaust pulse is increased
which slows it down. This has the same effect as lengthening
the chamber to increase low to mid-range torque and power. Easily
program how much water and at what rpm it gets injected into
the pipe. Inject water from 0 to 100 percent anywhere from 500
rpm to 12,000 rpm.
